Thanks for the quick response. Another question: is there a way to see a sample of your print quality? Can you send us a test of a page or something like that for a small fee? Also, what is the silk and satin paper? Thanks.

Recommended margins for bordered images

I am assembling a 5x7 book as an architectural brochure for my firm. We've assembled the document in In-Design and exported it as a PDF. We've each left side page is a full-bleed image, and the right side page has images and text with a consistent border around it. The question that I have is this: we've tacked on an extra 1/8" to all sides of each page for cropping (per VioVio's suggestion). Beyond that, how much of a white border is recommended to achieve a consistent look? Currently I'm assuming an additional 1/8" border. Should that be bumped up to 1/4"? Thanks for the feedback.

Since a 5 x 7 book is considered a mini book, you may want to bump it up to 1/4 since the trim is much more aggressive on small books.

Yes we do offer a bulk discount rate that applies to any bulk printing of one book. It is determined by the amount of books being printed in that run, 100 books will accomplish a 15% bulk discount.

Max. page count ?

Does the page count stand for double sided page as 1 page in printing terms or as 2 pages in design terms ?

I'm assuming front / back both together is considered as one page not two, if so, that'd be great. As I have 100 pictures, so that should be 50 pages instead of 100 pages exceeding the max page counts.

A single double sided page counts as 2 pages. So for example, a 50 page double-sided book would be totaled as 100 pages.

Is there really no way to print a bigger book at 5x7, I re-calcualted my pages... I think I have at least 100 pages plus 20 more pages or so in the works... it'd be GREAT if it's possible to have a bigger book instead of just 80 pages... which is only 40p in the book :(

Oh no! I already completed 100 pages of designs which would translate to 50 page of double sided books at 5 x 7. What options do I have at this point ? I'd like everything to be on one book NOT two. Help, please....
