Yesterday I made the trip to Geoje Island (Pronounced ko-jay) on the new Busan-Geoje Island Fixed Link. This a 5.1 mile bridge-tunnel connection between the city of Busan and Geoje Island; it includes 2 large bridges and an undersea tunnel. This largest bridge between Geoje and Joe islands is a 1 mile long, 3-pylon, cable-stay bridge. The 2 main spans are 750 ft long, the pylons are 355 ft tall and there is 118 ft of clearance under the main spans. I arrived at this location 3 hours before sunset and decided to wait to get this shot. It was like watching the grass grow, but glad I waited.

I'm late to the party, Joe. Just spotted this in the rolling gallery today.

It was worth your wait — I usually don't have the patience.

Wonderful image; great composition. IMHO, the colors make it.

Hi Rusty, yeah, I usually don't have the patience either, but it took over an hour to get here and cost $20 in tolls, and since I wasn't sure when I would have a chance to come again, I decided to wait it out. Blues and oranges are complementary colors and always go well together. Glad you like it.
