FAQ about ordering

Ordering Your Photobook

I ordered my book & it looked fine. I updated my gallery, ordered a new book (only the cover was updated). How do I get a revised book?

To incorporate changes into a new book simply regenerate the book. When you select the "order photo book" link you will be taken to check out. From there, select the "edit product" link, then select the 1.Wizard Choice option, and go through the photobook choices for your new book.

I created a gallery, ordered my book, deleted my gallery, and now my book doesn't show in my webstore. Why would that be?

If you prefer to have your book show in your web store you need to select the "available" option during step 4 of the book maker process. If you don't select the "available" option and delete your gallery your book will not display in your webstore. If you select the "available" option during step 4 of the book maker process and later decide to remove it from the webstore all you need to do is select the My shop tab, select the image for the book, select the "edit product" link, scroll down and deselect the "available" option.

I created a gallery, ordered my book, deleted my gallery, and now I can't edit my images. Why would that be?

When you delete the images from your gallery we no longer have the images. The only data we store is the PDF which displays in the shop. Your book remains available until you decide to remove it from the web store.

NOTE: We don't save the press-ready PDF until you place your order. We very intentionally don't because we want to allow you to make changes. When you have your final product we then store the PDF of that product.

How long after I order my photobook do I need to leave my gallery active?

As long as your cover and preview look exactly as you want them to look you can remove your gallery immediately after you place your order for your book. However, I would wait until you receive your book before deleting the gallery (you never know, you may want to make a change or two after seeing your book)

I want to cancel my order, what do I need to do?

Because we offer real time production we are able to cancel orders while they are in the PROCESSING status. After your order moves to a FULFILLING status we are not able to cancel. So if you need to adjust any orders please do send us a note when it is still in the PROCESSING status and we are happy to help.

Will the pages in my book be printed on both sides (back to back)?

The default is to print on both sides of a piece of paper just like a novel. We offer single sided printing which is selected during the book maker process - just check the "1-Sided Printing" box.

What shipping methods does Viovio offer outside North America?

  • International (2 - 3 weeks)
  • International Express (7-14 days)

International packages are delivered via the postal service of the destination country. Viovio cannot ship to international PO Boxes.

These times are estimates (not guarantees). They may be affected by factors over which Viovio has no control(i.e.incorrect delivery address, customs delays, or Post Office delivery restrictions). Orders which are affected by these factors tend to arrive within 5-6 weeks, and Viovio will take no action on these orders prior to that time. Additionally, we have found that orders shipping to Asia can take up to 10 weeks for delivery.

NOTE: Any duties or taxes levied against packages arriving from outside the destination country are determined by local Customs and Immigration agencies and are the responsibility of the recipient. Viovio cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred by the purchaser or recipient of orders due to non-delivery of packages or late shipment deliveries.

After I place my order how long will it take before my book ships?

When you purchase an order on Viovio, the amount of time it takes for you to receive your purchase varies. It depends on the format you select (for example, photo book or print) and the shipping method you choose. If your order stays in a FULFILLING status for longer than the stated fulfillment time, please send a note to support@viovio.com prompting us to research for you.

Paperback books and calendars must go through the print on demand manufacturing process. They usually ship 8-9 business days after your order date. (Orders of more than 25 books may take from 10-12 business days.) Expect your order to arrive in about 10 days plus the shipment time associated with the method of shipping you selected.

Hardcover books can either go through the quick binding process which takes 8-9 business days or the Pro-binding process which is a more extensive print on demand manufacturing process. They usually ship within 14 business days after your order date.

You will receive e-mail notification from Viovio when the item ships. If you feel your shipment time has been exceeded, please check the correct address for the order. Many times orders are returned to us with undeliverable addresses. You can find the shipping address in your order receipt email or by checking your order in your account.

I ordered a Quick Bound book and a Pro Bound book. Will they ship together?

The books will ship separately. The Quick bound books are manufactured by a different facility than the Pro bound books and we don't hold up the Quick bound books waiting on the Pro. Quick binding is a 8 day process and the Pro binding is a 14 day process.

Pro Bound vs Quick Bound

Is a quick bound book of lesser quality than a Pro Bound book.
For example would a quick bound book hold together for a shorter time?

Is there a discount for printing more than one copy? My mother just passed away and I want to print 7 books.
