Tracy,

Greetings from Viovio!

You can change the arrangement of the pages in Step 1 of the Designer by clicking the "Arrange Pages" button at the top of the page! This will let you change the arrangement to whatever you choose.

If you find that you are having problems progressing from Step 1 to Step 2 we find that that is usually a browser concern. We suggest using either Firefox or Google Chrome as your browser. If it behaves glitchy then we suggest deleting your cookies and emptying your cache.

I am making an 8.5x11 portrait style soft-cover book. I am using Creative Memories Storybook Creator software. I can save my book file as a PDF, but I don't think I can change any of the PDF settings. It it whatever the software defaults to. I am saving without any trim to the pages. I have a 1/2 inch margin all the way around the page. Is this going to be sufficient to ensure nothing gets cut off?

Thanks!

Tamra,

Greetings from Viovio!

If you have a 1/2 inch margin you shouldn't have any problems at all! If you wanted to make sure you could always save a single page or very small project, upload it, and compare it against the crop guides to see.

If you have any further questions please let us know and we'll do our best to help!

I am trying to type out a scoring record for the basketball team that I have done the picture book for. I have decreased pages to the 30's to reduce cost--but can i get a blank page for typing in the records--I need to have that in-- I tried doing it in caption form but the page wouldn't take all of the typing....help--gotta get this to kids before mid May...

thanks

Amy,

Greetings from Viovio!

You can add or delete pages using the icons located underneath the pages that are on the very left of the screen in the Designer.

Underneath each of the pages you will see an icon for a trashcan and an icon with a piece of paper. Simply click the piece of paper icon to add additional pages!

If this does not answer your question then please email the concern to support@viovio.com with the product ID# of the project and we will take a closer look!

Help

I thought I was making a $10-15 range photo book. But the prices say 39 and up. I am doing this little photo book for 50 high school basketball players as a small memento-- can you check from your end to see if I need to pick another template/book?

Thanks,
Amy Goff

Hi, Amy!

Your book has 81 pages, so it will not be in the $10-$15 range. You can see our pricing and all of the products we offer here:

http://www.viovio.com/wiki/Catalog

We do offer bulk discounts, which can also be found on the product catalog page.

Please contact us at support@viovio.com if you have any further questions about pricing!

Orange Crop Lines

by Hoh, Sat 03 of Mar, 2012 (05:50 UTC)
Do we have to keep within the orange crop lines as the orange crop lines takes up too much of the 'useable' area.

Can I just keep to the crop line on the left (for the right pages) (and the left for the right pages) so as to leave enough space for the binding, whilst forgo-ing the crop lines for the top and bottom...??

Regards,
Sharl

Hoh,

Greetings from Viovio!

For the Layout Preview:
(The crop guides are able to be viewed or removed by simply clicking or un-clicking the "Show Crop Guides" at the top left of the preview.)
The Red crop guide is for standard size projects (9x7 or larger)
The Pink crop guide is for mini-books (anything smaller than a 9x7)

For the Flip Preview:
The Flip preview offers 1 single yellow/orange crop guide that is both the Red and pink crop-guide combined, and is therefore more aggressive than necessary for standard size books. For most accurate crop guides when considering your work, please use the Layout Preview

Here is a great screencast that will explain all of our crop-guides: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8Ksz1k8Djs&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL
