Nichanos

This beatifull town is located at 40 Kms from Matagalpa, the peoples from there are called "nichanos", the main production is coffe, corn, beans, vagetables, livestock.
The main river is Calico, and the Grand Matagalpa River, the municipallity count to with a few villages, called "comarcas", El Corozo, Las Cuchillas, Ocote abajo, Ocote arriba, El Tempisque, Monte Verde, El Carrizal, Piedra Larga, Los Limones, Huibuse, Susuli, El Portillo del Jicaro, El Junquillo, El Cobano, Agua Sarca, El Asunto, Fuente Azul.
The main sport is like all Nicaragua, Baseball, from this town has been a few player ended up playing on first division teams, Narciso Zeledon(Matagalpa), Evenor Zeledon(Leon)
