Basal is most popular village in disttrict attock. It is
It is located 45 KM south of Attock city. It is
1.25KM away on east side from Attock Pindigheb
road. Its population is around 10000.Most of the
population earn their livinghoods by agricultur
.Rest serve army,Wapda and private services.There
are two railway station one is BasAL Junction ser
ving Rawalpindi, Attock and Kohat/Kundian sector.
Second station on Basl Pindi line near Parakunda
is Basal Sharif.There are college /schools.Many
famous names belong to this village like Dr.Burq,
Iqbal Khan, Jehan Khan of attock oil,Chairman
Khan Mian Khan, Mian khan parakunda, Sardar
Mumtaz Khan, headmaster nawaz khan,Subdair Ameer Afzal Khan(Sulemanabad) who is known as social worker normally work public benifit like trains timings,other social work,when PR shutdown all trains from Attock to jand in 1997,he played major role to start them again.

second one in construction.From Rawalpindi
