Pansud is one of the richest barangays of Lebak in terms of crop productions and of course, population. It is an irrigated barangay; considering the fact that most of people here are farmers. Those lands which are not irrigated are planted with corn, coffee and coconut crops. Roman Catholic is the dominant religion here but there are also a considerable percentage of protestants (i.e. Alliance, UCCP, Baptist, SDA). Most of the people here are Antiqueños since their ancestors were travelers and adventurists from Antique in Visayas Islands, but there are also a little faction of Ilonggos and minority tribes such as Manobo and Tiruray. The dominant families here are the Ogatis, Floro, Caraso, Baladjay, Abad, Samillano, Española, Espartero, Esparagoza and Juanitez.

Pansud was a part of the late Barangay Purikay, but then due to the effort by the early tenants, it was then separated together with Barangay Taguisa. Today, there are three educational institutions in this barangay, namely, the Pansud Elementary School and two Day Care Centers, one located in the Center Pansud Sitio and the other in Boac Sitio. There are also a number of churches here. Pansud is one of the most competitive barangays in Lebak, both mentally and physically: to mention, the Pansud ES are, until now, sending participants during the East Lebak District Meet, and also during the Division Schools Press Conference; Team Pansud was also qualified in the Best 6 Teams during the 1st Cong. Teng Basketball Cup.

Pansud has lots of potential to be the best barangay, all it has to take is good governance and zero percent corruption.

Hi, I'm glad to read this article. I really don't know where Pansud is located. What it brought to my attention is the Baladjay Family. Yes, my great grandmother is Antonia Baladjay married to a Puedan from Patnongon, Antique. Yes, I know some of my relatives the Baladjay & Bravo family from Barbaza & Lau-an, Antique. I would like to have some info about the Baladjay's Family.
