Mentor Baptist Church of Mentor Ohio

Mentor Baptist Church would be delighted to have you join us for worship and to look further into what we are all about. We have approximately 90 people attending our Celebration service on Sundays. There are about 50 children and teens who take part in our children and youth programs throughout the week. We feature preaching based upon God's Word as found in the Bible. Our music style embraces a wide range, cutting across praise songs to contemporary music to sacred hymns. We also enjoy demonstrating God's principles through dramas.

We believe transformation is found in Jesus Christ. People first experience being forgiven through God's grace, and are called to a transformed life. This happens through the power of the Holy Spirit, intake of God's Word, and life with God's people.

Helping our church family and friends discover and use the gifts that God has blessed them with is a large part of our vision. We believe that small groups are an instrumental tool to help a person grow both in Christian maturity and in the development of frienships with others. We believe and practice the "Great Commission" of spreading God's love in our community, country and across the world. Recently, we have been challenged to take an even closer look at the needs of our community. We currently are making an impacting difference through prayer and participation in:

"The Spring Block Party"
"Salvation Army meal program".
In essences we are a "connection" church. We are encouraging people to find God's purpose for their lives and to make an impact for His kingdom through connections with others in our church and communnity.

Mentor Baptist Church is located in Mentor, Ohio just off the corner of Rts 306 and 84. We are north of I90 and south of Rt 2, only 20 miles east of Cleveland.
