Roanoke Park is one of the early 20th century neighborhoods in the area locally known as Five Points. This picturesque neighborhood has a curvilinear street pattern which was laid out in response to the topography. This makes it fun to walk and easy to lose your way. Streets are named after people and places in North Carolina history and are oriented around the centerpiece of the neighborhood 'Roanoke Park'.

Though the neighborhood was started in 1913, core development took place during the 1920's 30's and 40's. The oldest homes are found on Sunrise Avenue. Many popular architectural styles from the first half of the 20th century are found here - Colonial Revival, Craftsman, Foursquare, Tudor, Minimal Traditional, Ranch and even Shotgun - with Craftsman being the most common.

Attractive homes, beautiful setting and convenience to many amenities make Roanoke Park a wonderful place to live. Walk to Five Points for food, shopping and entertainment.
