Kampong Sendok

Kampong Sendok is situated 13 kilometers from Taiping. The vilage is divided into three parts i.e. Kampong Sendok Tengah, Kampong Sendok Hilir and Kampong Sendok Hulu. The vilage is headed by one chief head or Ketua Kampong.

The population in this village is comprising 100 Malays. The village can be reached by bus, cars and others and travellers can
either enter through Batu Sembilan from Trong and Taiping Main Road or from Kampong Jelutong and Bukit Gantang from Kuala Kangsar to Taiping Main Road.

Various types of local fruits are available in this kampong and the price is cheap. There is also one famous picnic area situated at the upper stream of Sungai Sendok where the water is vary clean and cool.
