I believe in independent travel. "Tours" make me cringe and feel like a cow. I also hate having to dig through lots of crappy sites with lots of horrible ads to get info about places to eat/stay/sleep. So that is why I built Viovio. I want a site that amasses all the little nooks and crannies of the world without blasting horrible ads at you.

Other stuff about me: I am a software developer living in Raleigh, North Carolina. I am restoring a little 1932 bungalow in Raleigh's Five Points neighborhood. I love the Arts & Crafts movement architectural style. When traveling, it is architecture that I pay the most attention to, and often end up with hundreds of pictures of doors, windows, gates, buildings, stones, etc.

Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Ireland, and Italy are top of the list for my next destinations. Where are you going?
