After my miscarriage, we weren’t sure we would be able to have any children. We were so happy when three months went by the next time without complications. Just when we thought everything was safe, bleeding kept me to my bed many times for a few months. Then everything settled down again. You surprised us again when my water broke in the 35th week and made a C-section necessary. But you came through with flying colors and only needed a short time in the incubator before you spent most of your day on the warmth of my breast, all two kilos of you. When the priest came in to bless you, he didn’t even realize you were there, under the covers. you were so tiny.And we were so proud to be your parents!
