nice beach, friendly resort personnel, so-so facility

there were 7 of us who went to pagudgud last
June 16 all the way from Manila (yup, 10 hr
drive in the night). We checked in at this
resort at 6 am. I have to admit we were really
taken good care of by the nice staff there
(worth mentioning Charmaine). Resort has a nice
beach front where the view is just amazing. To
go swimming, however, one must walk at least
20 steps to the right of the resort. Big rocks
greet you in front. The room where we stayed at
is comfortable for the 7 of us. But, the room
smelled like a defrosted fridge the first time we went
in. They should have let the windows open to let
the smell out. The water that is being used in
this resort is probably from a deep water well
which is mixed with sea water due to the
proximity to the beach. Taking a shower with
this water would make one's hair stiffen up...
not a pleasant experience. The door knob at the
bathroom feels scaly which is perhaps due to
salt water flowing from the faucet that is
eating up the paint away. But, overall, the
resort offers acceptable facilities enough to
accomodate basic needs. Just immerse yourself
to the beauty of the beach ahead of you.
