Viovio doesn't offer a low res version of the gallery. Everyone is correct. We offer the low res preview for viewing

Hi Geraldine again,
I just downloaded a pdf book of mine and I see what you mean. The photos in the low res pdf aren't sharp, some of the words are kind of fuzzy, but you can see what's what. I agree with what Jane's done if that is an option for you. Only family are buying my books and they want to see exactly what they are buying first, understanding that the final product will be so much better/sharper than the pdf version they are looking at online.

Hi Geraldine,
I commented about this is an earlier post that I can't find! If you save the large version of your photos from your gallery onto your computer (the largest size available to the public), you are going to find that they are only about 100kb - 150kb in size (and I uploaded 2-3MB files). What I'd do if I was you as a first step if you can't get anymore answers is save some of your gallery pages to your own computer, blow them up on your computer and see what they look like. Some of my pages looked really really blurry and pixelated at the size I'd want them printed at. This is just an easy step to see what others can download. In one of my galleries I watermarked each photo.

They can download a low resolution PDF if you make it available for them to do so. But you don't have to choose that as an option. What I've done is to password protect my gallery/store so just friends and family can see/buy.

I don't know if the retail or pro level membership has the added benefit of having a link to a low resolution gallery instead of the production one. I seem to remember viewing a low resolution version for at least one book that was for sale in the store here.

Security Levels-Public but Not Accesible

I want my books to be Visible/Public because I want to sell them; but I do
not want everyone to be able to enlarge a photo in the Gallery and right click and save it themselves. The only way people can see my books is to see the Gallery (make the Gallery Public) so I can't make it Private. Why don't you have the books show as very small thumbnails that CAN'T be enlarged or saved as; Also when they go to look at a book, everyone can upload a pdf. If they can upload a pdf they don't even need to buy a book. I want my pictures Visible/Public; but NOT Accessible. I don't see any way to do this on your sight. I now remember that's why I didn't do books here a year ago. Thanks
