Chakesar is the village of several tribes but is the main off-sjoot of Aze-khel whose branches are khankhel,ghrakhel,Imna khel,and malik khel. Besides the Sahibzadaz-another offshoot of yousafzai tribe live in a small place known as makan famous for religious inspirations and intellectualism. I being one of the scillion of sahibzada is the first person from the district who joined the civil services of pakstan and have the honour to remain as a member pf both Provincial and central superior services.
Chakesar village is famous for scerenic beauty but alas the govt ahs always neglected this piece of paradise.
The people are known for their hospitalities and ratiolnale religious display. In the recent religious unrest in Swat, the prople of Chakesar took a heroic action by defying the Taliban intrusion into the area.
