Printing PDFs from iPhoto, can't add the extra .25 inch
Comment on Apple iPhotoRe: Printing PDFs from iPhoto, can't add the extra .25 inch
Posted: Sat 27 of Sep, 2008 (20:29 UTC),I am in search of the same button; I have tried uploading my iPhoto-created PDF for a mini book several times and don't see anything having to do with margins, scaling, etc.
Unlike you, I was hoping to have my images cropped. Instead, the images in the mini book I ordered a few weeks ago are all stretched horizontally (not flattering for people!). I'm told I chose this option, but I can't find it, nor any scaling, cropping, or stretching option. A screen shot of this would be very helpful.
Everything in the information documents seems to indicate the aspect ratio of images & PDFs will be respected, so it was a shock to get a book where everyone is wider. Disappointing, but even more frustrating that I can't figure out where I apparently chose this!

Posted: Fri 26 of Sep, 2008 (20:07 UTC),I tried uploading a PDF of an iPhoto 11x8.5 (landscape) book as per Christian's comment in this thread. The resultant preview PDF simply cut off the right hand part of each page. I cannot see where to tell it to maintain the landscape proportions. Nor can I see a landscape softcover option in the page sizes listed by VioVio. What am I missing here?

The good news is just go ahead and upload the file! We have a new option that will auto-correct the PDF and scale it for you. Once uploaded, you will see a warning and a big button to fix it on the product edit page (Step 3).

Printing PDFs from iPhoto, can't add the extra .25 inch
Posted: Thu 10 of Jan, 2008 (04:28 UTC),Hi there, My iPhoto printing dialog box doesn't have the Page Setup option for some reason. I can't find a way to change the PDF size from 8.5x11 to 8.75 x11.25.
Is it possible for you to print the PDF at 105% or something or a way to fix this in Acrobat?
Thanks for your help
