Heh, yes, i missed some students complaining about us not having the answers to their homework. A lot of the comments come off the travel wiki, and I think are some of the most interesting ones. Lots of people in far away places talking about their town, or where they grew up, etc...

The travel posts will say which place it is a comment on, for example, you can see "Comment on Nabipur" etc...

Anything offensive, spammy, or juvenile definitely gets nuked.

Maybe not spam in the traditional sense....just odd posts that don't seem to serve any purpose like the ones Dave pointed out or the fractured posts which to me (being monolingual) look like the classic 'spam' that tries to get past filters by mixing several languages together.

Not a huge problem really as I just ignore them....jsut seemed to be a lot all at once for some reason.

Maybe it's the fractured French posts, which do not relate to photography or travel..I've noticed them from time to time. Easier to ignore than fuss over. As someone who speaks the language fluently, they're not offensive.

Hi Bart,

What pages are you noticing the spam on? Can you specify the URL? I have been looking around and don't see anything major.

seems to be a lot of it these days (about half of the recent posts are spam/nonsense posts). Anyone moderating that or what?
