Sympathy

As a parent of soon-to-be college students, I was mortified by what happened
in Virginia Tech.. but when later that week, nearly 200 Iraqi civilians were killed
in marketplace bombings, the disproportionate outpouring of sympathy and attention
was jarring.

Let me express sympathy with the victims over from Europe - it is a terrible disaster in your conuntry and hopefully it will never happen again. We all should do our great to prevent such disasters from happening.
