Some things are black and white! New "Convert To Grayscale" batch command now available
Posted: Tue 27 of Mar, 2007 (03:25 UTC),You can now convert your images to true grayscale (black and white photo). Just click the Image Order link in your gallery, and Batch Select the images you wish to convert to grayscale. In the Batch Command Drop Menu at the bottom, simple choose "Convert to Grayscale". As the selection notes, this will alter your original images and is irreversible!
The advantage for this is that when printed, images that are *true* grayscale (i.e. in the grayscale colorspace) will cause the printer not to use any color ink, and will come out as pure black. RGB colorspace images without color will still cause the printer to use all four colors (CMYK) when making the image.
Please give it a try on a test image or two, let us know how it works out for you!
