Stormy Facts:
- According to the National Lightning Safety Institute, you have a 1 in 280,000 chances of getting struck by lightening. You probably have a better chance of getting struck by lightning than winning the lottery, so be careful!
- The strongest hurricane on record is Hurricane Wilma, which formed in October. 2005. Wilma's winds reached 185 MPH!
- Stormy the Icehog is the official mascot of the Carolina Hurricanes!
