I am a retired Brit Medic who spends about one third of the year in St Philip, South East Coast of Barbados, swimming, diving, fishing and exploring Cobblers Reef.
I have done a lot of recreational, wreck and exploratory diving in the North Sea near my home. Also plenty of diving in the Med and Red Seas, Indian and Pacific Oceans, Florida, and of course Scotland, Ireland, Wales and South West and Southern England.
The Bonhomme Richard (skippered by John Paul Jones - "I have not yet started to fight") was last sighted sinking and in flames about 60 kilometres north of my home. We still find unidentified iron cannon as well as brass and bronze artifacts, many from 2 World Wars, in the strong tidal currents that push partially sunken wrecks and flotsam south down the coasts of Yorkshire and adjacent Lincolnshire.
