Lena, 25 years old is a very good friend who finished her studies in a reputable university here in Bangladesh. She's been a really good friend and a good nurse here for almost 3 years now but today, she will be going away to find work in Dubai. She is hoping that it will bring her family a better opportunity to have a good life than what they have right now.

She told me that she want's to go find another work outside of Bangladesh but also as a nurse and just last week, she updated me with a good news that she is going to work in Dubai as a nurse in a hospital. I am happy for her but did you know what was the first question that I asked my friend? How much will you be earning working in Dubai as a nurse and how much are you earning right now here at Bangladesh for your family. She told me that there is a very big difference and in fact it was almost triple for what she's been getting here compared to the offer for a nursing job in Dubai.

What I told here on our next conversation was all about mixed emotions of loneliness and happiness. Loneliness in the part where a good friend has to go somewhere to find greener pasteur and find more success in her career and happiness in the part where I know she is on her way for a better life working as a nurse in Dubai because I know that it was her dream profession since she was 14 years old.

Well, my friend Lena, this post is for you and you alone. You can read this if you feel lonely so that you get reminded that there is a good friend who is proud of you in attaining your dreams to work as a nurse, a professional nurse and be able to serve people.
