How big is a centillion?

by Christian Fowler
Wednesday 02 of July, 2008
Recently I was looking for the name of 1076. Apparently there is not a name for that power, but there are names for several dozen powers of ten. I find the names fascinating, and when I tried to imagine scale, I'm lost after a billion billions.

PS the answer to "how big is a centillion?" depends on who you ask. Americans say 10303, and the British say 10600. Now, if only we could agree on what to call a biscuit. Er cookie. No, biscuit! As in "Biscuits and Gravy"
